Living a Word-Life!

Hello!  This is a Christian Blog for Disciples of Christ.  Each week I will try to enter a new message that will help you think, act, and grow.  Please feel free to reply to the post.  Discussion is a great way to expand the mind and build the your view of life and the Word.  This blog is to open dialog about new ideas based on the Word of God.  It is also a venue for further discussion on topics presented in the Discipleship class led by Pastor Stephen Brooks.  Please impart your input.

May You Live in the BLESSING of God!

Pastor Stephen B. Brooks

  1. Thank you for The Soap Personality Quiz, Sunday (August 19, 2012). It was a pleasure seeing the mixture(s) that best describe a person. As for me, (I fell in the categories of Liquid, Foaming, Scented, and Bar). My day 85% of the time begins between 12 midnight to 2 a.m. However, I routinely begin by day with God! Good morning, God! How may I be a blessing today! We are all born with unique abilities and talents. But, without God’s presence dwelling within by faith in Christ Jesus, we are blind. This is dangerous because if the enemy can distort your identity, he can steal your destiny. When we have God’s Spirit dwelling within, we have everything that pertains to life and godliness. Within every Christian, there is a “secret place”, a sanctuary we must prepare for the Lord. Deep within you is God’s dwelling place. His habitation! The more you understand who you really are in Christ, the easier it becomes to be who you are in Christ.

  2. Lord, May Souls Be Saved Daily!
